On June 4th, the Witco teams left their Paris office for an exceptional day of community building. Focused on sharing, fun, and team spirit, this corporate event took place at the Hôtel Abbaye du Golf in Lésigny, a unique venue nestled in the heart of a green setting, perfect for getting a breath of fresh air... despite a few raindrops!
Our employees were warmly welcomed in the abbey garden with a hearty breakfast. Pastries, fresh juices, steaming coffee... A moment of reunion and morning discussions, ideal for launching a day rich in exchanges and smiles.
Next came a highlight of the morning: a revamped "Deluxe." After the kickoff by our leader Eliane Lugassy, the Product, Revenue, and General & Administrative Services teams shared their early-year assessments and upcoming ambitions. Divided into small groups, participants moved from booth to booth to interact directly with team leaders—an approach praised for its conviviality and the quality of exchanges it enabled.
At noon, everyone gathered for a pleasant lunch, seated at tables named after football champions—sporting atmosphere guaranteed! The perfect opportunity to recharge before the afternoon's big challenge.
In mixed teams, employees tackled challenges, inspired by the famous “Fort Boyard” French TV show. The activities included: games of skill, memory tests, strategy challenges... and of course the riddles asked by Père Fouras that gave even the sharpest minds a hard time! Each team really went for it, trying to collect as many boyards (coins) as possible in a lively atmosphere that matched the high energy of the best corporate events.
